Ask me about it, if you want. It is certainly a vehicle.

Trying to get a feel from the passenger seat.

AWD, brown leather seats, mft, larger than I thought.

Kinja'd!!!

It’s cloudy.

I was in a Rental Edge for a couple of days. I liked it well enough, plenty of power, comfortable ride etc, but it was a much thirstier engine than it should have been for a 6 cyl. IMO.

Can you bring me portillos? Il take 2 dogs with everything; a combo dipped hot peppers with provolone, a large cheese fry and a chocolate cake shake.

Thanks!

Oh hey, I was in that exact spot about an hour ago, same lane and everything. At least you’re not going on 88. 88 sucks out your soul at one and a quarter times the standard boring-drive rate.

Try driving down around and updating you Facebook status with one hand while swinging your other hand to beat your imaginary children in the backseat for misbehaving.

How well does it work for that?

Well there’s no driver aids so I can’t imagine that’ll go well...thats what driver aids are for, right? And napping.

Yeah it has pretty good pick up, is larger than I thought, ok ride, good overall for sure. Idk how were doing on fuel but I can imagine.

Think it’s a ‘14. I didn’t rent it so not sure and nothing in here really identifies it.

Newton? I think?

My understanding was that we were “driving south for a while.”

Thinking ‘14. Didn’t they do something about the all capacitive center stack for the ‘15? This is all capacitive buttons.

Thinking ‘14. I didn’t rent it so dont have the paperwork and there’s no manual.

Is Ford’s flagrant use of plastic pretending to be wood on a car interior better or worse than Ford’s flagrant use of metal pretending to be wood on a car exterior? Discuss.

Hm. Check the VIN when you get a chance? The date is usually in there (although coded).

I’ve always wondered, does Joilet rhyme with toilet? I’ve never heard it pronounced.

Hmmm a good question indeed. I’ll say the plastic wood in the interior is better because that way not everyone sees it.

It’s also less likely to get bent up, scrape up and twist your body panels, and cause horrendous rust. It’s not hilariously and awesomely ostentatious, though.

Did they stop putting the date of manufacture in the drivers door frame? They used to have a stickers saying this car, made 05/14 conforms to all safety requirements for the 2014 model year.

I believe they still do that. I only thought of this while sitting in the passenger seat so can’t check.

Mpg...were cruising at 75mph and getting about 25mpg. Not sure how that is because the FoST is thirsty.

Their use of fake wood interiors isn’t nearly as humiliating as their use of plastic “aluminum”
